Does Azerbaijan give a passport?

This country is for friends like you. First of all, friends who want to do business in Azerbaijan face many problems. One of these problems is the local language and other laws. In Azerbaijan, a business TRC does not mean that if you have invested, you will definitely get a TRC. TRCs can be canceled. If you do not get a TRC, it is not possible to invest here, and a person becomes mentally disturbed.

On the other hand, people think that in Azerbaijan, any person must keep 50,000 manat, that is, 30,000 dollars, in the company account. In the first and last month, almost all TRCs were canceled. Whoever completed this process through a lawyer, by giving a little money, their TRC was canceled. You can think about what happened to the person who really brought money. For example, they could withdraw 10,000 manat in a month, but if their mind says, “I don’t want to live in Azerbaijan,” they will withdraw 10,000 in the first month, come here again in the second month, and come again in the third month. Such problems disturb a person.

There are two TRCs for success in Azerbaijan: one for property and one for marriage. How long these two TRCs last, how long for property, and how long for marriage, I will tell you. Some people understand my success story, that is why you are interviewing me. Behind this success is my marriage. I came specifically from Dubai to conduct their interview. When I came to Azerbaijan, I had no money. I even paid 800 dollars for a student TRC; in the previous blog, I told you that my expenses were 100 dollars, so this 800 dollars was a big amount for me. One year later, if I hadn’t married here, maybe I wouldn’t be here today. Now, if I have a small business, it is only because of marriage, because I have no TRC problem; TRC is not on my mind.

The biggest blow for businessmen is that they invest, but the TRC gets canceled. For example, if someone invests 10,000–15,000 dollars and their TRC is canceled, when they go back to withdraw, they become mentally disturbed, and their interest in business decreases. There is a language barrier. Now I have a marriage TRC, I am not obliged to do business. Because a person who wants to get a business TRC has to set up a company, complete 50,000 manat, and at the same time start a business. In Azerbaijan, they must hire workers and pay salary tax. Whether you are making a profit or not, you must do these things. I am married; I am not forced to do anything, I can wait and watch for a good opportunity. If I get a good opportunity, I will invest; otherwise, I will continue with small jobs. For example, if I know driving, I can get a car and start running a taxi. By working with Bolt taxi in Azerbaijan, if someone earns 1,500 manat, after expenses, 1,000 manat remains, which is approximately 160,000 Pakistani rupees.

Expenses in Azerbaijan are cheaper compared to Dubai. The living standard is cheaper than in Pakistan. In my house, there are two air conditioners, a washing machine, a fridge. My monthly utility bills are about 50 manat. For a family, the expenses are around 500 manat, approximately 70–80,000 Pakistani rupees.

If your family has four members, do this: when going out to eat, eat as much as you want. The average cost is about 500–600 manat. Regarding TRC, I will say that the marriage TRC leaves your mind, then when you engage in work and get a good opportunity, you can utilize it. In Azerbaijan, the law is the same for all businessmen, married people, and property owners. Property and marriage TRCs are definitely given; if you follow the rules, the TRC is not canceled.

The first TRC is given for one year; immigration can also give you six months for marriage. The second TRC is given for two years for marriage. If you follow the rules, learn the language, and stay in the country for a certain period without leaving, after three years you can apply for PR. PR is for five years after taking it once, and after the second PR, you can apply for the country passport. I still do not have the country PR; I am still on TRC. I have a two-year TRC. I applied for PR, but it was rejected because I didn’t know the language.

The same laws apply to property. An investor in Azerbaijan buys property worth 60–70,000 dollars, has to work here, and hire workers. I have already explained about life standards and expenses in Azerbaijan. Life is cheaper compared to Pakistan.
