Azerbaijan citizenship by Investment

Friends, many people are asking that:

Wow we can invest in Azerbaijan?

How we can open a company there?

What is the best way to invest and move there with family?

So, friends, the system of Azerbaijan is like this — Azerbaijan is quite an easy country. I mean, you can go there very easily from Pakistan; you can take an e-Visa — a visit visa that is for 30 days — and this visa started in 2017.
I was the first person when the visa started, and I visited Azerbaijan on that visa, and then I also made a video about it. After that, many people came to know about it. This is a matter of 2017, and now see, it is 2024, seven years have passed since that time — but still, they have not closed this visa for Pakistanis.
This is a big thing — you can see that Azerbaijan has a very good relationship with Pakistan.
And Azerbaijan is such a country that has a population of about 10 million — it’s neither too big nor too small, but fine — it has quite a few cities, such as Baku, which is the capital, and then Ganja is another city, and there are many small cities as well, but these two are the big ones — Ganja and Baku.
So here, if you want to invest, if you want to buy a house or property, you absolutely can. The system in Azerbaijan is similar to Turkey — meaning that if you purchase property worth around $60,000, you get a residence permit for 2 years, and you can also include your family in it.
And after 5 years, you can apply for citizenship in Azerbaijan. That option exists — you just need to know their language and other requirements. It’s another thing whether they give it or not, but you can apply — this option is available to everyone, especially to Pakistanis.
And this is regarding real estate — their market is stable. The currency’s name is Manat. One dollar equals about 50 to 60 Manat, and the currency has been stable for a long time because Azerbaijan has oil reserves, which keep their currency strong and stable.
The people of Azerbaijan are also good — better than those of Turkey — and they like Pakistanis. Recently, you know, there was a war there, and they won it.
Apart from that, Azerbaijan’s market is a bit small — not as many opportunities as in bigger countries like Turkey or Dubai. Because their population is moderate, there aren’t as many large-scale opportunities.
Still, if you’re thinking from a business perspective, there are opportunities there. There are many kinds of businesses you can explore and start.
As for tourism and restaurants, there’s not much room anymore because many people have already gone there and started such businesses — that market is already saturated, especially with Pakistanis and Indians owning restaurants and such things. So those sectors are kind of finished.
But if you target the local population for import-export or small local businesses, you can still find opportunities there. If you target foreigners, the market is small, not that big.
Mainly, this video was about the fact that you can buy a house there, live there, and get a residence permit. You can also move your family there.
But the same issue exists as in Turkey — people buy houses and then ask, “What will we eat there? How will we earn money?”
That issue exists there too, just like in Turkey, because the person who wants to survive in such countries should have income from abroad — for example, a pension, or a business abroad, or if you work online, then these countries are good for you — like Turkey, Azerbaijan, Georgia — these are good for retirement-style life where money comes from outside.
Because if you talk about jobs in these countries, or even business, it’s not that easy — business there is quite tough.
So, these are the issues. Think carefully before stepping into such countries, so that you don’t end up in trouble by following what others say.
Whenever I make videos, I always tell people: if you have income from abroad, then fine — you can survive one or two years on that, and later decide what to do within that country.
I used to say the same about Turkey — but now, as you know, inflation has skyrocketed, and things have gone out of hand there.
As for Azerbaijan, the point is — first, visit it yourself. The e-Visa is very easy to get online. See for yourself what it’s like, what it’s not, and then decide.
