-
Continuous Residence: You must have lived in Azerbaijan for at least five years without leaving.
-
Language Skills: Show proof that you can speak and write the official Azerbaijani language.
-
Legal Compliance: Fill out an application according to Azerbaijani law, follow all other legal requirements, and give up any other citizenship you may have. The Republic of Azerbaijan does not accept dual citizenship.
Authority and Legal Basis for the Program
The State Migration Service of the Republic of Azerbaijan is where people can send their applications for this program.
It is based on the Law of the Republic of Azerbaijan on Immigration (No. 1075-IQ), Article 15, and the Migration Code of the Republic of Azerbaijan (2013), Chapter 3.
