Can a Pakistani marry an Azerbaijani woman?

Is it possible for a Pakistani to marry an Azerbaijani woman?
This blog is especially for friends who want to get married in Azerbaijan; they should watch it carefully. Two things will become clear to them: how to bring the documents here, which ones to bring, and how to get them tested, and regarding the girl, many friends wonder if the girl is single and wants to get married.
According to Azerbaijani law, there is only one marriage here; the concept of a second marriage does not exist. In Pakistan, you must provide a document confirming that you are single or divorced.
Documents: a certificate of being unmarried, which is obtained from the Union Council. To get it from the Union Council, you first submit an application, and they issue the document. It states that this person has not married here. The Union Council document must have the secretary’s stamp and signature.
After getting the document attested by the Pakistan Ministry of Foreign Affairs, you bring it to Azerbaijan. No additional attestation is required from the Azerbaijani Consulate.
Additionally, a No Objection Letter (NOC) is required from the parent or head of the family. For example, the son can marry wherever he wants, and the family agrees with it.
You take the papers to Azerbaijan after getting them signed by the Pakistan Ministry of Foreign Affairs. You take the document obtained from the Union Council to the Pakistan embassy; it is stamped and verified.
Then, you take the documents to centers in Azerbaijan for translation and certification. The translation is done from Urdu or English into Azerbaijani.
Next, you go to “Asan Khidmət,” where you submit the documents to the Ministry of Foreign Affairs. After 7 days, the documents are returned attested.
Now the documents are ready for marriage. The next step is a medical check-up for the girl and yourself, costing approximately 10–20 AZN. They check blood group compatibility so that there are no problems for children.
After the medical check-up, you go to Asan Khidmət for the marriage. You take the documents and your spouse’s ID card. The documents are verified, and once all requirements are met, a date is given. After one month, you go with your spouse, and the marriage is performed. After the marriage, a Jaks card is issued, and you apply for TRC (residence permit).
A separate medical check is required for TRC, checking for Hepatitis and AIDS. There are two medical centers: International Medical Center and Bam Dar. After completing the medical check and documents, you submit them with photographs to Asan Khidmət.
What is Kuce? It is the house where you live. According to Azerbaijani law, you must stay at the address registered on the TRC. If you stay elsewhere, there can be a 400 AZN fine. Kuca documents: permission from the landlord, their ID card, and a permission letter for you. If you own property, you provide your own documents.
After the medical check and Kuca documents, you submit them to the immigration office. After 27–28 days, the TRC is issued.
For those coming from Pakistan for business: Azerbaijan has visas – sticker visa (3 months or 6 months) and business visa. On a 6-month visa, you can stay 3 months; on an annual visa, 6 months. A business visa requires an invitation letter. The visa fee in Pakistan is approximately 50 USD.
If you have the visa, you can open a company and do business here without worrying about TRC by showing a 10 AZN capital.
